Bookstore manager receives honors
Validis Resources has presented its President’s Award to Kay Hill, manager of Eagle Pride Bookstore at Chadron State College.
The award signifies Hill as the 2008 on-campus bookstore runner-up manager of the year. It was presented during a ceremony at Lincoln in June.
Hill was chosen from about 130 bookstore managers from across the United States who are part of Validis, a division of the Nebraska Book Company bookstore network. The award is presented annually for excellence in management and administrative processes. The company gave Hill an acrylic plaque for the achievement.
